The DBK Ducati Dry Clutch Basket is precision-engineered from 7075-T6 “Ergal” aluminum, a material chosen for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. By replacing the heavy OEM steel basket, you significantly reduce the rotating mass of the crankshaft assembly, allowing the engine to spin up faster and feel more responsive through the powerband.

- Hard-Oxide Anodizing: The surface undergoes a specialized hard-coating treatment that creates a wear-resistant barrier. This prevents the clutch plates from “notching” the basket, which is the primary cause of clutch drag and poor shifting.

Does this require special clutch plates?
No. The CF01 is designed to work with any standard 12-tooth clutch plate kit, including the original Ducati plates or DBK’s own performance plate sets.
Will this fit a slipper clutch?
Yes. This basket is the outer housing and is fully compatible with most internal slipper clutch hubs (DBK, Ducati Performance, EVR, STM, etc.) that utilize the standard 12-tooth configuration.
Is installation difficult?
Installation requires a clutch holding tool and a high-torque impact or breaker bar to remove the main nut. We recommend replacing the clutch plate bolts and spring retainers (available in our SM01 series) at the same time to ensure a perfect rebuild.
